ITINERARY DETAILS
Departing Zanzibar airport at 08:00 am & arrive in Serengeti at around 11:05 hours. On arrival at Seronera airstrip meet your professional & well experienced local English speaking safari driver guide, greetings & short safari briefing then start your game drive in the vast Serengeti plains. Packed picnic lunch will be served at Seronera visitor’s center or in the bush while watching some animal actions.
Serengeti National Park with its endless rolling plains is the scene for The Great wildebeest Migration & probably the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world. Its Ecosystem is one of the oldest on earth & it includes several Game Reserves in Tanzania as well as Masai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya. Annually movement of the great herds in Serengeti Masai Mara ecosystem involves wildebeests, zebras and gazelle moving in and out of Serengeti & across Mara River to Masai Mara in Kenya.
During your 4 days Serengeti Ngorongoro flying safari you may also expect to spot herds of African elephant, buffalo, eland, hippos, giraffe, warthog & many antelopes. Predators and birds of prey will always be seen in Serengeti plains following the Migration of herds with their thrilling actions like eating, fighting, hunting and sometime killing. Late afternoon before or during sunset drive to your camp for dinner & overnight.

Overnight at Thorn Tree camp at Central Serengeti
As early as 06:30 am leave the camp with packed breakfast box and lunch box for an early morning game drive at the wild rich Serengeti National Park anticipating to spot cat family on the road as they avoid morning mist or a group of lioness trying to organize a morning ambush. You may also see some nocturnal predators coming back from their long night of hunting & other animals waking up ready to start a new day in Serengeti.
Afterward break for breakfast somewhere in the bush then proceed with game drive searching for the Great wildebeest Migration (this will depend on traveling dates). However, Serengeti still worth a visit with or without the migration of herds. Break for lunch in the bush or at any closest picnic site probably Seronera picnic site. After lunch and little rest you may have a short visit at Seronera visitor’s Center before resuming your afternoon game drive. Late afternoon drive back to you camp for dinner & overnight.

Overnight at Thorn Tree camp at Central Serengeti
On this day you will do much game drive in Serengeti before departing for Ngorongoro Conservation area for sunset watch dinner & overnight. If you wish you can start as early as the previous day, much game drive in Serengeti plains then en-route game drive while heading to Ngorongoro Conservation area with an (Option) of visiting Masai village. Arrive at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge at the crater rim or similar in Karatu town for sunset watch, dinner & overnight.

On this day as early as 06:30 with breakfast box & lunch box descent over 600m high walls to the Crater floor for wonderful game drive. Ngorongoro Crater “The nature wonder of the world was formed some 3 million years ago due to some internal forces under the earth crust. Supported by yearly round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports large number of animal species, which include herds of buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, eland, topi, warthog, hippos, black rhino as well as giant African elephant.
Another big draw card to this unique natural animal sanctuary, is the dense population of predators, which include lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas & the ever- mysterious leopard, which sometimes need binoculars eye to spot. The tour will take you to Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline Lake in the southwestern corner, frequently visited by hippos, flamingos & other aquatic birds
In the afternoon drive to Arusha city for overnight or drop off at Kilimanjaro international airport (JRO). KLM can be the best option if flying the same day as it leaves JRO at 21:30. Still you can fly back to Zanzibar on day 4, please let us know your preferences.
